Train Yo Brain

Your brain can’t lift weights but it’s the most important muscle in your body for you to work! ⁣

That's why mindset coaching is at the center of everything I do! It doesn’t matter how heavy you lift or what you eat. If you don’t work on what’s going on inside your head you’ll never be successful at any program. ⁣ So How do you train your brain?! 🏋🏻‍♀️🧠⁣ Here's five ways to work that beautiful, intelligent brain of yours. ⁣ 1. 🗣How you TALK to yourself matters: tell that inner Regina George to 🤫 positive thoughts only. If you wouldn’t say it to someone you love don’t even think about saying it to yourself. ⁣ ⁣

2. 😁POSITIVE Affirmations really do work: Repeat after me, I AM WORTHY, I AM LOVED and I AM NEEDED. Write it on a post it, stick it on your mirror, say it out loud and repeat repeat repeat. ⁣ ⁣ 3. 🙋🏻‍♀️Ask for HELP: there’s ZERO shame in asking for help, whether it be therapy, a housekeeper, or getting a sitter to help with the kids. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE! ⁣ ⁣ 4. LISTEN: we’re often so busy trying to control 100 million things at once that we forget to listen, to our bodies or even to our loved ones. ⁣ ⁣ 5. 🐢SLOW DOWN: When was the last time you stopped and took a deep breath? Breathe in for a count of 5-7 and exhale for a count of 5-7. Repeat 3-4 times daily. Now don’t you feel better? ⁣ ⁣ The chores & work will always be there, so stop 🛑 and enjoy LIFE for a moment. We only get one and doesn’t if feel SO GOOD to be ALIVE? ⁣ ⁣ Are you in touch with your inner dialogue? When was the last time you slowed down and took a breather? If it’s been awhile stop now and take a few moments to think about your goals, your priorities and check in with how you’re feeling. ⁣ ⁣

Maybe you need to schedule that therapy session or massage, or maybe it’s time you unplugged and grounded yourself in nature. 🌳 Try taking your shoes off and planting both hands and feet into the ground. Feel the earth beneath you, take a few deep breaths and soak up the energy of the earth! ⁣
